FROM A FEATHERBLADE OF BEEF TO A GRIOTTINE CHERRY TO A CHRISTMAS PUDDING BAKEWELL TART “HYBRID” – IT’S THE DALMORE INN FESTIVE MENU 2022! 

Maintaining its reputation for outstanding dishes prepared with the very best local produce from all around the area, the Dalmore Inn has unveiled its 2022 Festive Menu.

Two courses are on offer for £25.95, with three courses at £29.95, both price points representing fantastic value for money with a wide choice of fine dining quality dishes. The menu will run every day from 2nd December until the 24th.  

Enjoy a starter of Rabbit, Ham Hock & Fois Gras Terrine with mustard butter, served with a watercress & apple salad, or tuck into creamy Burrata with vine tomatoes, pistachio nuts and herb salad, or a Hot Smoked Salmon & Crayfish cocktail. 

For main, choose from Slow Cooked Featherblade of Beef with Stornoway black pudding potato torte, celeriac puree and glazed carrots, or, of course, everyone’s festive favourite, Traditional Roast Turkey with cranberry & caramelised shallot stuffing. Other main course choices include Fish & Chips, and a Beetroot and Tarragon risotto for vegetarians. 

It is Christmas after all so why not opt for a dessert? The Dalmore Inn has put a clever spin on traditional Christmas pudding by making it into a Warm Christmas Pudding Bakewell Tart, two favourites combined into one, served with Grand Marnier ice cream. Or what about a dark chocolate mousse, rich and decadent with a white chocolate sorbet served with it, along with griottine cherries, world famous Morello cherries macerated in alcohol for at least six months? A Toffee Apple Mini Sundae may however be your choice, combining caramelised apple with fudge bites, toffee sauce and Chantilly cream. 

If you don’t have a sweet tooth, there’s a lovely choice of artisan cheeses served with biscuits and quince jelly.
