So of course when you try a new product – as we try so many – it’s hard not to get complacent… I mean how different can lipsticks be? Right? (said in my best Californian accent.
I tried the Easy Street after seeing it advertised on Facebook by Younique make-up artist Lisa Laing and decided to give it a go…
Now, despite writing about skincare and make-up for 15 years – and trying a gazillion different products, I’m kinda ‘less is more’ when it comes to make-up. I don’t always wear it for a start.
I don’t like foundation as I think it ages you. I’m 53 and opt for softer, more dewy skin – moisturising a lot; and only ever wearing a tinted moisturiser and cream-based products. I like Clarins and Trinny.
So I don’t always wear a lipstick; opting for Elizabeth Arden’s Eight-hour cream – which gives a luscious and glistening look to your lips.
But when I saw make-up artist Lisa wearing this particular shade, I wanted to try it.
I did and love it so much, I wear it every day. It also lasts beyond a couple of hours and it doesn’t dry out your lips. I’m a complete convert. (And to prove how much I love it, I ordered another one in case I ran out).
I have never done this before. Like ever… so what does that tell you. If you do one thing today, check out this range.
